A Bunch of Buoys

This started out to be a quick sketch to determine values for a painting... I got carried away. The subject is something I came upon by accident while I was in Petoskey. Walking in sandles in sand is not a fun thing so I went through the boat house to get to the other end of the beach.... what treasures I found in there.... lots of material for drawing and painting during the winter months.

  1. Good drawing and nice values. Boats and boathouses always have such interesting "stuff" (most of which I have no idea what they use it for). This should make an interesting painting too.

Just a lovely, well balanced drawing. I agree, this will be great as a painting.
