A Bunch of Buoys

This started out to be a quick sketch to determine values for a painting... I got carried away. The subject is something I came upon by accident while I was in Petoskey. Walking in sandles in sand is not a fun thing so I went through the boat house to get to the other end of the beach.... what treasures I found in there.... lots of material for drawing and painting during the winter months.

Good drawing and nice values. Boats and boathouses always have such interesting "stuff" (most of which I have no idea what they use it for). This should make an interesting painting too.

Beautiful drawing...great composition, highlights and "darks". which of course I thrive on.

Just a lovely, well balanced drawing. I agree, this will be great as a painting.
