Another painting and a drawing
I've added another piece to my Sacred Spaces series. Some in the series are churches or missions, others are quiet spaces that I find peaceful places to contemplate or meditate. This particular piece is a Country Church. It's 7"x7" poured watercolor.
This second piece is a graphite drawing. I may eventually do a painting of this subject but for now, I'm content with the drawing

Oh, Helen - I LOVE the church pour - so SO beautiful! And great stair step composition with the watering cans - I'd be quite satisfied with it as well!
I just love it too - it has such a feeling of peace about it - really lovely.
Thank you both.
Love the country church!!! Great shading on the siding considering it is a pour. Nice job on the drawing too. It would make a nice painting.
Thank you for the compliment on my tulips. So few people actually take the time to leave a comment. I love your work especially the poured watercolor.
I really love this piece of the church, very appealing. I don't understand the process of pouring, guess I need to do my homework.
